About The Position

As a PCB Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing complex circuit board designs according to customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conducting component selection based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Performing high-speed signal integrity analysis to ensure precise timing and mitigate EMI impacts. Developing power profiles and selecting onboard power regulation and distribution systems to meet the circuit's power requirements. Specifying PCB stack-up criteria to optimize signal integrity and thermal management. Overseeing layout and routing activities to ensure adherence to design guidelines and standards. Creating and executing validation and integration plans to verify the performance and functionality of the circuit board designs.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in circuit board design in either digital or analog.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS.
  • Knowledge of component selection, power distribution, and PCB stack-up design.
  • Ability to validate hardware and integrate with other PCBs and assemblies.
