About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Production Manager, this position is responsible for reconditioning of pre-owned cars including Paintless Dent Repair, headlight restoration and windshield chip repair within factory and dealership specifications. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary training program preferred
• 1 year of experience performing paintless dent repair preferred
• Documented industry training preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information including vendor catalogs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by company insurance provider
• Ability to operate standard and manual transmissions
• Working knowledge of proper use of hand tools, power tools and other machinery
• Ability to demonstrate above-average mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform standard problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and Rapid Recon to plan work
• Completes work assignments within established time frame; update Rapid Recon upon job completion
• Inspect cars for additional damage; acquires approval for additional work
• Maintain a clean work area; apply dust control, remove trash, spray down floor, etc.
• Assist other technicians with washing and moving vehicles as needed
