Family First HomeCare (FFHC) is hiring compassionate, dependable RNs and LPNs to provide one-on-one pediatric skilled nursing care in the home. You’ll deliver safe, high-quality clinical care, complete clear documentation, and communicate effectively with families and the clinical team.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of employment (or compact where applicable)
  • Current CPR (BLS preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Reliable transportation to/from patient homes (as required)
  • Ability to pass background screening and meet onboarding requirements
  • Ability to follow the Nurse Practice Act and FFHC policies/procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric nursing experience (home health, hospital, or outpatient)
  • Experience with medically complex pediatric patients
  • Comfort working independently in a home setting
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care in the home per plan of care and physician orders
  • Assess and monitor the patient; recognize and report changes promptly
  • Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice
  • Support ADLs as appropriate and within the care plan
  • Educate patients/caregivers on care needs and safety
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation per agency and regulatory standards
  • Communicate updates/concerns to the supervising nurse and clinical leadership
  • Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
  • Participate in required training, in-services, and patient-specific orientation
  • Maintain professionalism, reliability, and respectful communication in the home
  • Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
