As a Neurodiagnostic Tech I, you will care for patients diagnosed with a brain or nerve condition, seeking the most advanced care from top specialists in the field. Summary of Essential Duties: Perform routine assigned neurodiagnostic studies in the inpatient and outpatient settings as requested Studies include EEG, LTM, Routine and Ambulatory Assists with department projects including but not limited to research, database maintenance, and quality improvement The technologist may be asked to head projects, taking a lead role in the maintenance and completion of neurophysiology task that aid the lab and/or the scientific community Prepare rooms before and after studies and/or procedures Explains details of procedure to patients, in accordance with standards of practice as defined by Cedars-Sinai and applicable certifying or regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree/College Diploma in an Accredited Neurodiagnostics Program required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a biological science preferred
  • R.EEGT by ABRET preferred
  • CLTM from ABRET preferred
  • Applicants with more than 3 years of experience may be considered as a Tech II
  • Experience with Pediatric patients is preferred
