About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide dedicated one‑on‑one private duty nursing for pediatric patients in their homes. This opportunity is perfect for nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional, individualized care and building meaningful relationships with children and their families. We currently have immediate openings in Newton, NJ and surrounding Sussex County areas, offering flexible 8–12 hour shifts.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN or LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience (home care, hospital, or acute care)
- Current PALS certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR within 10 years
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- Experience with medically complex pediatric patients preferred
- Ventilator and tracheostomy experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
