About The Position

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are responsible for providing appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, plan of care, and therapeutic interventions in the areas of speech and language, voice, fluency, social communication, and feeding/swallowing. The SLP will work directly with patients, their families, and collaborate with healthcare providers and other professionals in providing education, counseling, and facilitation of additional care/intervention as needed. Additionally, pediatric SLPs provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and or language comprehension disorders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an approved school of speech/language pathology.
  • Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology (as Speech Pathologist).
  • BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
