About the ITCD Program: The Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) program provides specialized, person-centered care for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. Through a holistic, team-based approach, the program focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms—by integrating behavioral health and addiction services into a unified treatment plan. As a Peer Specialist on the ITCD team, you’ll use your lived experience to walk alongside individuals in recovery, helping them build hope, develop coping strategies, and stay engaged in care. Peer support plays a key role in helping participants navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and stay connected to treatment and community-based resources.
