Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Mentorship and Career Program Body Motion Physical Therapy is a fast-growing, cash-based women’s health and pelvic floor clinic in Edmonds, WA. We specialize in pregnancy, postpartum, and lifelong pelvic health, helping women heal, stay active, and age gracefully with confidence. Our clinic blends advanced pelvic floor physical therapy with whole-body wellness strategies and innovative technologies such as Shockwave Therapy, Red Light Therapy, and wellness coaching. This position includes a structured mentorship and career development program designed for Physical Therapy Assistants who are passionate about women’s health and pelvic floor therapy. The program is ideal for: New graduate PTAs interested in pelvic health PTAs transitioning from orthopedic settings into women’s health Early career PTAs seeking deeper mentorship and clinical growth Participants receive: Weekly mentorship and clinical support Case reviews and treatment planning guidance Hands-on training in pelvic health rehabilitation Education in integrated therapies such as Shockwave Therapy, EMTT, and Red Light Therapy Professional development and long-term career growth within the clinic Our goal is to help PTAs build confidence, clinical skill, and leadership potential within women’s health physical therapy. Body Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Edmonds clinic. The PTA will provide one-on-one pelvic health treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist while participating in our structured mentorship program. This role supports women across fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, and lifelong pelvic health.

Requirements

Current Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license or license eligible
Strong interest in women’s health and pelvic floor therapy
Motivated to learn and participate in mentorship and skill development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, reliable, and collaborative team member

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one pelvic health treatment sessions under PT supervision
Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Support clients across fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menopause
Educate clients on prevention and wellness strategies including core recovery, joint health, and osteoporosis prevention
Assist in integrating therapies such as Shockwave Therapy, EMTT, and Red Light Therapy as directed
Collaborate with the clinical team to provide whole-body, client-centered care
Participate in mentorship sessions, case reviews, and professional development
Support clinic goals related to client outcomes and patient experience
