About The Position

A strategic, hands-on, commercial business partner to the business on everything that is people & culture – ensuring we have the talent horsepower we need to deliver on our plan. As a People Business Partner, you will support leaders on the people aspect of their business. You will be responsible for partnering with leaders to understand their business, their strategy and their growth plans, which you will use to build and deliver a people & culture strategy to deliver on the plan. This is a hands-on role, sleeves rolled up, working leader – we need a self-starter, a driven individual who can deliver at pace. We’re changing the way we do things and need to lead the business & the team through the journey – aiming for 10yrs experience at leadership level, within a commercial organization. Able to hold themselves & others accountable, enabling higher team performance by coaching & developing leaders. The ability to get things done through other people is currency here, in terms of relationship building & being able to influence without authority. This role has exposure to every level of our organization and being able to communicate succinctly, use data & insights to help make business decisions, and build trust with people is key. Being commercial & strategic is essential. Having led change & transformation within a matrixed environment is advantageous. Being accretive to our culture, non-negotiable. The role is based downtown Los Angeles and in-office minimum 3 days per week, with a need to travel, on average once per month within the continental US predominantly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead People Planning in partnership with business leaders – driving higher business performance
  • Serve as thought leader and partner to business leaders – and cultural advocate & cheerleader to our Associates
  • Operationalize Talent Management processes to ensure we are developing the right people at the right time – driving stronger engagement & retention
  • Leverage Global People & Culture COEs – ensuring strategic alignment
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition & Finance – ensuring we secure the right talent, at the right time & within budget
