About The Position

People Business Partner (PBP) will serve as the first point of contact for serving employees and leaders through building solid relationships to support engagement and to strengthen the culture of the credit union. The PBP will deliver value- added services in key People & Culture are as such as Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Leave Management, and various administrative duties to ensure the credit union is in compliant with all appropriate laws and guidelines of the credit union. The PBP is a Champion of the culture and exhibits our values in every interaction in serving the workforce.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years related experience in Human Resources, Psychology, or other related experience required.
  • Strong knowledge in HRIS systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree at an accredited educational facility preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, CP-SHRM, OR SCP-SHRM strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding-Responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find a quality fit to support the credit union’s mission, vision, values, and long-term goals. Duties include however, not limited to recruiting sources, posting positions internally and on job boards, screening resumes, interviewing applicants, performing assessments and all background checks, extends offers, and onboarding for an exceptional employee experience.
  • Employee Relations and Performance Management-Act as a trusted advisor to guide and support employees and leaders on various work-related matters to increase engagement, health, and productivity of the workforce and ensure all policy, law, and guidelines are followed. Coordinate with employees and leaders to ensure they complete goal setting, coaching, feedback, and the annual performance achievement process (PAR) for achieving company goals within the performance management system.
  • Administrative and Reporting-Complete timely employee questions through various communication channels, review various reporting such as onboarding, compensation, benefits, performance reviews, exit interviews, employee data reporting, proper documentation for employee matters, organizing employee files, etc.
  • Leave Management-Serves as a subject matter expert to support employees with leave management programs and processes that adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Act as the liaison between the employees and dedicated vendors to process timely any leave management requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
