About The Position

We are a growing CPG brand looking to expand our People & Business Operations capabilities. Reporting to the VP of HR & Business Administration, the People Operations Coordinator provides essential operational and administrative support across payroll, benefits, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and team engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, payroll administration, or HR support role.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing environment.
  • Professional, discreet, and service-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, scaling organization.

Responsibilities

  • Administer bi-weekly payroll in Paylocity for salaried team, ensuring accuracy of compensation, deductions, and reporting prior to VP review.
  • Maintain payroll documentation and assist with reporting and audits as needed.
  • Administer team member benefits including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment support.
  • Serve as primary contact for routine payroll and benefits questions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to=date team member records within HRIS
  • Prepare team member documentation including offer letters, job changes, and onboarding paperwork.
  • Support compliance documentation and filing requirements.
  • Track and maintain HR metrics and reporting data.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Screen initial job applicants and coordinate interview scheduling.
  • Assist hiring managers with candidate communication and reference checks.
  • Prepare onboarding documentation and coordinate new hire orientation logistics.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
  • Assist in administering performance review cycles, tracking deadlines and documentation.
  • Help coordinate all-team meetings, team events, and internal communications.
  • Support team engagement initiatives and organizational health efforts.
