Within GA Telesis, the People Operations Department, in support of the company’s values and principles, is to support the total operation in meeting its goals through its most valuable resource-its PEOPLE. People Operations is seeking a high-performing People Operations Manager to plan and coordinate the human resources function for key divisions or departments of the business, including Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and government laws. Reporting to the Senior People Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will use their interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills. Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience, preferably SHRM-CP or SCP certified
  • Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s global goals and strategies related to staffing, recruiting and retention.
  • Drive processes to promote a high-performance culture, coaching managers and providing feedback mechanisms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring timely, confidential, and equitable resolutions of employee concerns.
  • Produce detailed organizational reports for business leaders focused on headcount, turnover, retention strategies, etc.
  • Serve as a function expert in all HR-related matters, guiding best practices and compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to each department and role.
  • Manage systems, processes, policies, and procedures that result in effective planning and administration of annual budget(s); productive, cast efficient and effective operations within assigned functional area(s); and effective corrective actions for any operating expenses that deviate from budget. Develops forward-looking wage and salary projections in collaboration with business unit finance leaders.
