About The Position

Lead functional design, configuration, testing, and delivery for PeopleSoft HCM initiatives with a focus on Time & Labor, Payroll for North America, and Commitment Accounting. Combine hands‑on PeopleSoft knowledge with project management, stakeholder facilitation, and data migration/testing ownership.

Requirements

  • PeopleSoft HCM Expertise: Proven hands‑on experience with Time & Labor, Payroll for North America, and Commitment Accounting.
  • Functional Documentation: Ability to write detailed functional specifications, process maps, and configuration guides.
  • Integration Experience: Experience integrating time collection systems into ERP (file‑based and API).
  • Testing & Data Skills: Strong UAT, test case design, and payroll/time data migration and reconciliation experience.
  • Project Management: Track record of delivering projects on schedule; strong planning, risk management, and communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to translate business needs to technical teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Detail Oriented: Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands‑on implementation of Time & Labor templates and custom rules.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades and Integration Broker.
  • Familiarity with payroll tax updates, multi‑state payroll rules, and payroll reconciliation processes.
  • Project management certification or Agile experience.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements and Design: Elicit and document business requirements; produce clear functional specifications and process flows.
  • PeopleSoft Configuration: Support or lead configuration for Time & Labor, Payroll NA, and Commitment Accounting; implement templates and custom rules.
  • Integrations: Design and validate integrations with third‑party time collection systems (file feeds and APIs).
  • Project Delivery: Manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications using established PM practices.
  • Testing and UAT: Create test plans and scenarios; lead User Acceptance Testing and coordinate defect resolution.
  • Data Management: Support data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation for payroll/time data.
  • Change Management: Drive user adoption through training, communications, and process alignment.
