About The Position

Capital University seeks a passionate Pep Band director to cultivate a spirited and energetic atmosphere for athletic and campus events. The Director will provide musical leadership for the Pep Band at men's and women's basketball games, football games, campus pep rallies, and other athletics and major university functions. The successful candidate plays a key role in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for student musicians, ensuring that all participants feel valued in their musical, personal, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in music, music education, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience directing or leading a band or similar ensemble, preferably at the high school or collegiate level
