About The Position

Position Summary:
Operates hospital switchboard in order to provide information and direct calls to appropriate areas. Responsible for overhead paging of personnel, meeting times as well as all emergency codes. Ensures smooth functioning of switchboard. Reports to Manager of Admitting.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
