About the position

We're looking for a highly creative and data-minded Performance Marketing Designer who specializes in designing full funnel creative from ads to landing pages optimized for conversion. This role blends design thinking, brand storytelling, and conversion-optimized strategy to visuals and create paid media assets that drive user acquisition and engagement. You will work closely with the Growth, Performance Marketing, Product Marketing and Product Design teams to create high-impact creative for digital ad campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-performing landing pages, ad creative, and other visual assets that directly impact conversions.
  • Translate campaign briefs into compelling visuals that align with brand identity and voice.
  • Apply A/B testing insights to evolve and optimize ad creative.
  • Design and iterate on static and motion ads for paid digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to concept and test creative variations based on performance KPIs.
  • Produce performance-driven landing pages, banners, and promotional email assets to support campaigns.
  • Ensure all creative meets compliance and advertising guidelines for cannabis and adjacent industries.
  • Maintain design systems and templates for rapid creative production.
  • Present creative rationale backed by performance data and brand strategy.
  • Track ad creative performance in partnership with growth analysts and marketers.

Requirements

  • 3-7+ years of experience in performance marketing or advertising design, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated industry (cannabis, fintech, healthtech, etc.).
  • Portfolio that showcases ad and landing page design with clear performance outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for digital ads.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Familiarity with ad platforms and analytics tools.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving, data-driven environment.
  • Understanding of user funnels, conversion design, and CRO principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cannabis, wellness, or regulated consumer industries.
  • Familiarity with cannabis compliance requirements for advertising.
  • Experience in motion design or animation.
