The Watson Customer Engagement Worldwide Performance Marketing team is looking for candidates to help build the event strategy and execute cutting edge events that set IBM apart from the competition. The ideal candidate must be organized and possess exceptional strategy, project management and execution skills. Must be able to work in one of the following locations: NYC;Responsibilities:
- Build and execute an exceptional experience inclusive of proprietary and non-proprietary events for the WCE Diamond Teams with a focus on differentiating IBM globally.
- Drive demand by creating a customer experiences that surprise and delights and engages, builds the brand and extends our reach through content marketing and digital technology.
- Partner with cross functional teams to develop content, messaging and surround sound elements (digital, social) for the key events.
- Analyze event leads and follow-up programs, constantly testing new ways to drive more leads and more conversions.
- Apply analytics and insights to better understand attendees, their behaviors & interests, and improve engagement -- driving the continual optimization of future events, strategies, and plans.
- Establish and manage budgets to maximize return on marketing investment by optimizing efforts through iteration and experimentation.
- Work with agency parties to identify leading events in the market and identify new and unique ways to reach professions.
- Understand and comply with the IBM Global Event process and tools including (EST, GRP, EIT, CTEBA, etc)
Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.DPT2
- 5+ years in an event execution role.
