About The Position
Perinatal ultra sonographers, also known as perinatal sonographers or high-risk OB sonographers, are specialized healthcare professionals who perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on pregnant women, particularly those with high-risk pregnancies. They work closely with obstetricians, perinatologists, and other healthcare providers to assess fetal health and development.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 Years experience in high risk obstetric ultrasounds.
- Possess knowledge of normal and abnormal fetal anatomy and GYN anatomy.
- Graduate Ultrasound School.
- Certification in OB/GYN
- Current ARDMS - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
