Position Summary Coordinates and maintains the appropriate amount of staff to allow for the constant flow of surgical cases. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic computer functions.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of previous computer and time keeping experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains monthly schedule for all employees.
  • Coordinates the approval of all vacation times in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Communicates daily staffing needs in a timely manner to the Nursing Operations Manager, Assistant Nurse Managers and/or control desk.
  • Proactive with all team members by actively listening, showing a caring attitude and offering alternatives when necessary as related to staff scheduling.
  • Presents a professional posture and guards against any unethical business practices or breaks in confidentiality.
  • Serves as timekeeper and backup for the payroll process for all time and attendance functions.
  • Demonstrates telephone etiquette, communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritizes appropriately.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates and assists with special projects.
