About the position
The California Montessori Project is a public K-8 charter program using research-based Montessori pedagogy in providing academic choice for families in the greater Sacramento area and Shingle Springs, CA. CMP is looking to hire a dedicated substitute for our American River Campus for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits. The person selected for this role must be flexible, as the grade level and school site may change on a regular basis, within our central network of schools. This position is being developed to support our regular teaching team throughout the school year where the need is greatest within the network. Qualified candidates are required to possess a clear 30-day substitute permit in order to apply and be considered. Serving as a substitute teacher is a great way to learn more about public Montessori education and become better acquainted with our school and staff. Additionally, any long term substitute teachers who may be needed throughout the year are usually hired from our substitute teacher pool. Applicants must complete an on-line application.
