About The Position

We're looking for a Permit Coordinator who knows how to get broadband construction projects moving. You'll be pulling permits for large-scale OSP builds across the greater Tyler area - fiber, coax, whatever the job requires. This isn't a desk job where you just fill out forms. You'll be working directly with city offices, county boards, TxDOT, and utility companies to keep our projects on track. If you've worked in telecom or broadband construction and know what it takes to navigate the permit process, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

Experience pulling OSP construction permits - you've done this before
Telecom or broadband background (utilities experience works if it's telecom-focused)
Knowledge of FTTH, coax, or fiber construction work
Comfortable with basic computer work and tracking systems
Ability to communicate clearly with everyone from town boards to construction crews
Self-starter who can manage multiple permits and deadlines at once

Responsibilities

Pulling and managing OSP construction permits for FTTTH, coax, and fiber builds
Coordinating with municipalities, utility companies, and agencies like TxDOT throughout the Tyler region
Communicating with city clerks, planning departments, and utility reps to move permits through approval
Tracking permit status and keeping internal teams updated on timelines
Managing permit documentation and ensuring compliance with local requirements
Problem-solving when permits hit roadblocks or need revisions
