About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in Royal Oak, MI. The role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
- Must pass background check required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of service provided
