About The Position

Tree of Life is looking to add a Personal Care Home Administrator to their Memory Care staff. Work with staff to oversee both the clinical and administrative aspects of the facility. Ensure that that highest degree of quality resident care and services are delivered and maintained. A positive culture of Resident focused service delivery is paramount. Essential Functions Responsible for meeting or exceeding occupancy and mix goals. Oversee clinical services to ensure the highest quality of care and satisfactory resident outcomes. Participate in training, supervision, and discipline of staff. Maintain a list of volunteer positions, as needed. Complete performance evaluations for direct reports. Act as a liaison between the community and all outside agencies. Endorse community in positive way to the greater community. Maintain and prepare records and reports as required by policies and regulations. Ensure resident rights and smooth transition throughout community. Act as catalyst for quality improvement. Perform daily rounding on resident and staff. Remain compliant with all federal, state, local and corporate regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of the Department of Human Services 2600 regulations for Personal Care Homes and the ability to follow these regulations. Responsible for completing and participating in admissions and updates to Resident Support Plans. Ability to work a flexible 40-hour schedule consistently and be able to work extended hours to cover necessary shifts and ensure visibility across shifts. Ability to apply conflict resolution techniques and coaching with a view to helping associates and residents to resolve disputes and complaints and to arrive at an agreed upon outcome. Responding to emergency situations or calls for assistance whenever present in the building. The above requirements are representative of minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities. To perform this job successfully, the individual will possess the ability and aptitude to perform each duty proficiently.

Requirements

  • Current PC Administrator licensure or current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) licensure, in Pennsylvania.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, human services, or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to work a flexible 40-hour schedule consistently and be able to work extended hours to cover necessary shifts and ensure visibility across shifts.
  • Ability to apply conflict resolution techniques and coaching with a view to helping associates and residents to resolve disputes and complaints and to arrive at an agreed upon outcome.
  • Responding to emergency situations or calls for assistance whenever present in the building.
  • OAPSA required FBI Fingerprints, National Sex Offender Registry, PA State Criminal History, PA Child Abuse and Physical assessment are required prior to hire and required every five years .
  • Physical assessments will be required every two years.
  • A valid PA Driver’s License with acceptable driving history is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or social work background strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator or PC Administrator is preferred.
  • Experience in Long Term Care setting is preferred.
