About The Position

Bethany Athletic Club, a premier athletic club in Portland’s west side seeks a Personal Trainer to join the Fitness team! The successful candidate will ensure our members receive the highest level of fitness expertise and professional care.

Requirements

A nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA preferred)
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
Experience in personal training a must, experience in sales and client retention a plus
Flexible availability
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes.
Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures.
Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a health club or private fitness facility preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate own schedule based on client needs
Perform Fitness Assessments
Design and administer exercise programs that fit members goals, health history, and fitness level.
Develop and implement small group personal training classes.
