About The Position

Bradford Hills Pet Hotel is Hiring a Pet Care Attendant! Position Details Role: Pet Care Attendant Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Rotating Shifts, Employees are expected to work at least 1 weekend a month Our Pet Care Attendants play an integral role in bringing comfort to our patients as well as ensuring proper organization and cleanliness of our pet hotel. Knowledge of routine animal care, such as feeding, walking, and bathing, as well as the readiness to care for scared or injured animals, are some of the skills we are looking for with this opportunity. Requirements

• Knowledge of routine animal care, such as feeding, walking, and bathing
• Readiness to care for scared or injured animals
• Organized
• Quick on your feet
• Love for caring for animals

Responsibilities

• Cleaning cages/runs and keeping kennel area organized and free of safety hazards
• Administering oral medications prescribed by Veterinarians
• Observing animal behavior/health conditions and reporting changes to the technicians or doctors
• Keeping accurate records and logs
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs)
