About The Position
Join Our Guest Services Team at Morris Animal Inn! Morris Animal Inn is a family-owned and operated luxury pet resort offering dogs & cats the finest in lodging, grooming, training & daycare services. We believe that caring for dogs and cats is a great responsibility and privilege - one that we take very seriously. We’re hiring a Full Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our outstanding Guest Services team at our Montville location. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Work experience that focuses on engaging and assisting customers with a high degree of friendliness and professionalism
- Basic computer skills and comfortability in learning new database software.
- High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
- An appreciation for the fact that pet care is a 365-day business so availability to work on weekends and over holiday periods is required.
- A love of dogs, cats, and people!
Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and their pets as they arrive at the facility.
- Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Booking appointments, handling scheduling and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing invoices and collecting payments.
- Handling the check-in/check-out of pets, ensuring all necessary paperwork and forms are completed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk & lobby area.
- Communicating with other staff members to ensure delivery of our exceptional pet care services.
