This position will be based at our West County Energy Center in Loxahatchee, FL, and will travel to support outages within our fossil fleet located throughout Florida. The position leads internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty for assigned major maintenance activities or plant maintenance to achieve objectives for: safety, environmental, quality, schedule and cost compliance. The position is focused on streamlining activities through the use of lean maintenance techniques and standardized processes and procedures. Under limited guidance, this individual develops leadership skills to assume direct accountability for internal employee development and performance management. Job may include other misc. duties as assigned. These duties may include leading the cost and schedule functions in accordance with corporate financial policies and procedures. Up to 40% travel is expected for this position. Job OverviewEmployees in this job lead a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in major maintenance activities or plant maintenance. Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 5+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
