About The Position

The Pharmaceutical Material Specialist is responsible for the dispensing of raw materials liquids and powders (hazardous and non-hazardous), acids/bases, under cGMP conditions to support the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API).

Requirements

Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Ensures full compliance with GMP standards, SOPs, and site training requirements.
Adheres strictly to all EHS rules, site policies, risk assessments, and maintains up‑to-date safety training.
Demonstrates strong numeracy, literacy, and accuracy in all warehouse tasks.
Brings proven warehouse experience, including working with SOPs and SAP WMS/ERP systems.
Shows solid understanding of both EHS and GMP expectations within operational environments.
Highly motivated, able to meet tight deadlines without compromising compliance, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, drum lifters/conditioners, pallet jacks); serve as SME and trainer for material handling.
Act as SME for key business and support systems (DCS, POMS, SAP, LIMS, Condor, PQS).
Serve as Change Owner; create, revise, and maintain critical SOPs and related documentation.
Lead and facilitate process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Act as technical trainer and mentor, providing group and individual training and supporting training material development.
Ensure strict compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and regulatory expectations; represent the area as an SME during inspections.
Exercise strong decision‑making and ownership to resolve process issues and collaborate with leadership to prevent recurrence.
