About The Position

Our Onco360 Pharmacy in Woodridge, IL has a need for Full Time Pharmacist Supervisor! Onsite Monday to Friday with coverage from 9:30am to 6pm EST. Onco360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Required: Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal and state regulations.
Required: Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
Required: Current license in the state of practice

Nice To Haves

Desired: Pharm D preferred
Desired: One year experience in retail pharmacy

Responsibilities

The Pharmacist Supervisor works closely with the Pharmacy Director to review staff performance metrics and conducts coaching / counseling as needed.
The Pharmacist Supervisor promotes dispensing accuracy and operational efficiency across the team.
Promotes on-site engagement, teamwork, and employee morale.
Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with staff to provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support.
Manages direct reports, including payroll coordination, PTO approvals, performance management, and participation in disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness, including drug selection, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration; provides recommendations for therapy modifications as appropriate.
Maintains the patient database, ensuring accurate documentation of current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over the counter and home remedies).
Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical support as needed.
Documents all communications with physicians, nurses, other healthcare team members, patients/residents, and family members in the medical record.
Supports the implementation and adherence to policies and procedures related to the safe procurement, storage, distribution, use, and disposal of drugs and biologicals.
Assists in obtaining and maintaining required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Reports medication-related errors to the Pharmacy Director in accordance with established procedures.
Ensures appropriate documentation of adverse drug reactions (ADRs); ensures product complaints are properly documented and reported to pharmaceutical manufacturers as required.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Conducts responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable policies and procedures, federal and state laws, and professional standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
