About The Position
Provide pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems. Additionally: ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. May also advise physicians on medication utilization.
Requirements
- Current & valid Florida License as Registered Pharmacist
- Pharmacy license
- BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required)
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy preferred
Nice To Haves
- Hospital pharmacy experience in unit dose and IV admixture
- Good communication skills and ability to relate effectively to hospital staff, department heads, administration and medical staff
- Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), CGP, etc.
Responsibilities
- FTE= 1. Overnights. 7 days on, 7 days off. Wednesday - Sat = 9pm - 7am & Sunday -Tuesday = 7pm-730am
