About The Position
Procurement of supplies and equipment ensuring the highest quality at the lowest price available. Responsible for sourcing pharmaceuticals and substitutions during shortages. Tracks, trends, and analyzes pharmacy inventory making adjustments in par-levels as needed to meet patient care demands and budget. Able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Responsible for project management and overseeing the daily functions of team members as applicable. Estimated salary range for this position is $65835.36 - $85585.97 / year depending on experience.
Requirements
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
- Associates degree or minimum of 5 years of technician experience.
- Experience in procurement of drugs and related supplies recommended.
- Analytical and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to resolve problems and develop partnerships with internal departments to find resolutions.
- Effective communication and computer skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and apply independent judgement in a demanding environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook.
- Pharmacy Technician license for buyers that will work shifts as pharmacy technicians outside of the Pharmacy Buyer role.
- Minimum Required Experience: 5 Years
