About The Position
The Intern Pharmacist, reporting to the Pharmacy Clinical Manager and under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist, assists in the non-discretionary tasks of preparing and dispensing medications.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with completion of 1 year pharmacy education
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communications skills, and pharmaceutical calculations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel,etc).
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Intern by the California State Board of Pharmacy
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital and retail pharmacy experience
- Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technology
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding and Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
