Learn more at shn.ca Working under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Student will be responsible for supporting drug distribution services and may involve: unit dose packaging, prescription pick and medication deliveries, unit dose cart fill and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

Enrolled in a Pharm. D Program
Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Student
Knowledge of hospital inpatient pharmacy services
Excellent communication skills
Patient oriented and patient focused
Ability to work well within an inter-professional team and to foster effective working relationships
Demonstrates values consistent with SHN’s Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment in accordance with Health & Safety policy and legislation.
Utilize protective equipment provided and identify and reports hazards
Engages in ethical conduct and strives to understand and appreciate the diversity of our patient/staff population and community
Excellent work performance and attendance record
