About The Position
Pharmacy Teammate supports pharmacists by assisting with prescription preparation, processing customer orders, and ensuring safe, efficient customer service and performing general housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Possess basic computer skills
- Possess strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions. Such as retrieving medications from shelves, count or pour medications, label containers, and price prescriptions.
- Provide a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience for all customers.
- Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Pharmacy operations, safety, and sanitation.
- Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy.
- Process orders include filling in prescriptions and accepting payment.
- Fulfill general housekeeping duties.
- Minimize shrink through proper handling and storing of product
