About The Position
Description Up to $2,500 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months Shift: Nights Job Type: Full Time Position Summary: Under the supervision the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacists and Buyer/Lead Tech, the Pharmacy Technician assists in the preparation and delivery of all medications and performs related duties. This shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal laws, Joint Commission standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent with clerical and science courses preferred.
- Proof of completion of board approved pharmacy technician – training program
- Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy as Pharm Tech
- To be considered Certified Pharmacy Tech, must obtain Certification
Nice To Haves
- One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred in unit dose and IV admixture preferred
- Demonstrates good communication skills and is able to relate effectively to hospital staff, department heads, administration, and medical staff
