Requirements

  • National Certified Pharmacy Technician, State Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Registered Pharmacist credential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacist, or 3 years of experience with an associate's degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in IV sterile compounding and experience in hospital settings.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional and technical skills relevant to the field.

  • Previous teaching or training experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver competency-based education in alignment with CHCP's curriculum model and instructional delivery standards.
  • Develop and implement instructional plans that meet course competencies and support lesson objectives for both residential and blended delivery formats.
  • Facilitate student achievement of exit competencies through effective instruction and evaluation of learning outcomes.
  • Create a learning-centered environment conducive to student engagement and success, both in-classroom and online.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive feedback to students, with a focus on supporting struggling students to improve their performance.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in teaching style and work schedule to promote student success and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and other required documentation, while adhering to institutional policies.
  • Participate in faculty, departmental, and school-wide meetings, contributing to the institution's academic community.
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with industry trends and incorporate real-world perspectives into the curriculum.
  • Serve on at least one special project committee annually to support campus initiatives.
  • Attend Program Advisory Committee meetings to provide input on curriculum and program delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the institution's mission and goals.
