Every day as a Pharmacy Technician is dynamic and rewarding. With flexible full-time schedules, you'll take pride in playing a critical role in patient care. You carefully select and package prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all guidelines. You expertly fill unit dose cards, handle bulk medications like liquids and inhalers with proper labeling, and manage compliance packaging with a keen eye for detail. Whether organizing patient bags, assisting the dailies department, or maintaining clean and efficient work areas, you're always one step ahead. Following guidance from your trainers and managers, you embody the commitment to excellence that sets us apart.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Licensure in the State of Michigan or eligibility for a program
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs, pharmacy software, and related technology
  • Abide by HIPAA, maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to understand medical terminology

Nice To Haves

  • A strong understanding of basic algebraic principles is preferred
