About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing clerical and technical tasks within the pharmacy operations. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. Must hold Pharmacy Technician Certification.

- Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical and technical functions for the pharmacist
- Types labels or makes entries into the computer system, including prescription information
- Perform cashier function including end of day processing and bank deposits
- Participate in patient drug assistance program processing
- Participate in internal quality improvement programs
- Interact with patients and staff in a pleasant and professional manner
- Communicate with insurance companies, drug program representatives and any third parties that’s deemed necessary
