About The Position
Exciting Pharmacy Technician Position Available for Motivated and Focused Individual!!! RIDC Park - Pittsburgh, PA Part Time AM Shift Grane Rx is seeking a highly capable and motivated individual for a Pharmacy Fill Tech Position. This position will offer the right candidate a rare opportunity to receive highly sought after and marketable training while on the job. The chosen candidate will receive a great deal of training on a day-to-day basis. Required Traits: Hardworking & Self-Motivated Patient & Customer Focused Positive Attitude Reliable & Flexible Responsibilities Essential Duties: Medication Order fulfillment (i.e., various packaging, dispensing machine, labeling, shipping, etc.). Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in preparing medication for dispensing and final review by Pharmacist. Coordinating and staging items for delivery for an accurate and timely delivery to the customer. Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Mix pharmaceutical preparations under direct supervision of Registered Pharmacy and according to written prescriptions. Assists with special projects as needed. Supports location, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company. Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct. Responsible for uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety. Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach. Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities. Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess computer knowledge skills.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and be a team player.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic drug terminology.
