Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
The position is responsible for dispensing medications to and collecting co-pays from patients of the health center. This position also collaborates with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures for operating the programs, and then work with health center staff to operate these programs. Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required (will take experience into consideration).
- Pharmacy Technician certification required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues.
- Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to use good reasoning and judgment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Demonstrate good listening, customer service skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
