About The Position

The Philanthropy Associate is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and clerical duties, with much of the work being computer-based, including but not limited to: recording donor interactions, performing data entry, scheduling and information requests, preparing materials, drafting internal correspondence, managing mailings, supporting prospect research, tracking deadlines, managing excel lists, and providing support for special events.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED; Associates Degree preferred; and 1 -2 years of relevant experience.
  • Comfort with email, spreadsheets, MS Office applications & Database experience; Raisers Edge preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Commitment to issues of reproductive freedom.
  • Ability to work both with direction and independently.
  • Must be willing to travel regionally for occasional meetings and events, including some occasional evenings and possible weekends.
  • This position must be able to work from designated in-state Admin space as needed to meet work requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update donor information in the database to support fundraising efforts and ensure records are accurate.
  • Provide general administrative and office support, including data entry, organizing materials, and assisting with day-to-day tasks.
  • Support fundraising activities by preparing reports, tracking donor engagement, and helping manage donor relationships.
  • Assist team members with planning meetings, events, and communications related to donors and fundraising initiatives.
  • Help gather and organize research on prospective donors to inform outreach and strategy.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes, stay flexible with changing needs, and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Follow organizational policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold high standards of professionalism and service.
