About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, perform blood draws, support front-office activities, and ensure a smooth patient experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
• Experience with Phlebotomy / Venipuncture
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer skills
• Front & Back Office Experience
• Phlebotomy
• EKG
• Point-of-Care (POC) Testing
• Patient Scheduling
• Rooming Patients
• Taking Vitals
• BLS or CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Occupational Health experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients while ensuring a welcoming environment
• Draw blood (phlebotomy/venipuncture) and perform specimen collection
• Record vital signs and patient medical information
• Perform EKG and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Assist with vaccinations and clinical procedures
• Handle patient scheduling and phone calls
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Provide support to both front and back office operations
