About The Position

We are seeking experienced Phlebotomists/Processors with excellent people skills to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team’s goals. Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday w/varying shift start times (8-hour shifts). Qualified candidates must be available to work both AM and PM shifts. Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening. Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information. Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity. Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance. Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations. As a commitment to our clients and their requirements, all candidates for this position must meet the following immunization and health screening requirements before starting employment at the designated site: Annual Influenza (Flu) vaccination Hepatitis B (HepB) series Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination Tuberculosis (TB) test, PPD (within the last 12 months) Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (TDAP) vaccination (within the last 10 years) Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination or immunity Proof of immunization or immunity will be requested upon hiring. If not presently immunized, but willing to receive, Interpath will cover the associated costs at their partner clinic. Physical Requirements: Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds. High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to ensure timely response to safety needs. Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield). Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day. Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed. OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must possess a minimum of six months of on-the-job phlebotomy experience
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Clean driving record
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
