Performs a variety of duties involved in the collection, identification, and labeling of venous and capillary blood specimens from patients for health care providers at the patient service center(s), main hospital facility, and various client sites, according to established methods and procedures. Responsible for handling of all laboratory specimens, performs capillary glucose testing, and completes clerical duties associated with laboratory specimen collection. Reports to the Supervisor Non-Technical and is accountable to all Laboratory Management Team members. Hours Every Saturday morning 7am-12noon (may require additional working hours during weekdays for orientation and training). Education High school or equivalent (GED). Certification, Registration, and Licensure None required. Experience Training in phlebotomy procedures required.
