Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech.™ Reports To: Photolab Production Manager Pay Range: $67,000 - $80,000/Annual Job Location: Vishay Applied Thin Film Products is in Fremont, CA What you will be doing: Supervise the development and execute photolithography processes to meet customer on-time delivery specifications & manufacturing process flows from customer requirements Communicate job expectations, quality and production standards Direct and coordinate process manufacturing activities within a wet lab environment Write and update process procedures for lab operations, coordinating with engineering and quality as required to ensure that products and processes meet manufacturability and yield objectives Recommend and implement process improvements to improve yields and throughput as well as reduce costs Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and utilization of lab equipment and tooling Provide training, coaching and monitoring for staff Maintain employee records, appraise performance, and conduct interventions as necessary Determine capacity requirements and maintain appropriate staffing levels Lead, mentor and guide the photolithography lab staff in a positive and assertive manner, building a positive team spirit Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment Adhere to all safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner May be required to perform other duties What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred, especially Chemistry 2+ years supervisory or management experience in a production environment Hands on experience in Photolithography processes, with an emphasis on development and manufacturing Technical knowledge in using equipment like microscope, caliper preferred Ability to read and interpret drawings and review critical criteria and special instructions Computer skills, data entry experience (e.g. quality data/results) and proven working knowledge of computer usage Proficient in English. Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent coaching and communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Able to prioritize job flows, schedule and manage time efficiently Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required Well organized and able to work independently Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change Chemical handling experience Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and other safety procedures Prior experience working for ISO 9000 certified company Work Environment Work is performed primarily in an office/lab environment; adheres to required safety and dress standards to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, talk, and listen. May be required to sit, stand, walk for periods of time; bend, stoop, and twist using full range of motion; perform various repetitive fine grasping motions; uses a variety of small hand tools to perform various operations when required; lift 25 to 50 pounds, operate a computer and enter information using a keyboard, operate a telephone, and other office equipment for an extended period of time. As some visual inspection duties will also be required, specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties. May be exposed to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards (electricity, compressed gases, etc.), and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals (e.g. alcohol, acetone, acids, solvents and photo resist) or particulate matter. May be requested to work overtime and weekends to suit operational needs. Requirements

Responsibilities
