Your Impact & Responsibilities: Clinical Excellence: Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved care plans. Accurate Documentation: Maintain daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in strict compliance with PT Board requirements. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Effectively communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, challenges, and discharge plans. Education & Advocacy: Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training to ensure a safe transition home. Staff Mentorship: Assist the nursing department in training Restorative Aides to maintain patient functional gains. Department Care: Participate in facility upkeep and report any equipment issues to ensure a safe, high-functioning rehab environment. Qualifications: Licensure: Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to relate positively and appropriately with patients, families, and professional colleagues.
