Join a great team environment where your contributions are valued and your professional growth is supported every step of the way. such as: Role Overview As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients recover movement, reduce pain, and improve their overall function and independence. You’ll play an important role in helping individuals restore mobility, regain strength, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Connecticut Physical Therapy Assistant license required
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments under the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist
  • Assist with patient assessments and treatment implementation
  • Apply therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities appropriate for each patient
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress
  • Communicate with therapists and care team members to support coordinated patient care
  • Support the supervision and coordination of rehab aides, students, or support staff when applicable
  • Maintain safety standards for patients, colleagues, and visitors
  • Use equipment, supplies, and time efficiently to support smooth department opera
