We are seeking a physical therapist to join us and support patients with neurological conditions at M Health Fairview Clinic in the desirable Blaine community! The Blaine rehabilitation team consists of primarily orthopedic physical therapists and we see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions - we are growing our neuro patient population, and this is a great opportunity to join an expanding team! The rehabilitation department is co-located with specialty physicians down the hall and primary care physicians on the first floor. These groups of physicians regularly refer patients to our rehabilitation department. The right therapist will have the opportunity to treat the general population, or specialize, depending on the needs in the community. In collaboration with patients and families, the physical therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes. FTE: 0.4, authorized for 32 hours per pay period. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays (16 hours per week), and occasional Mondays, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Fairview Rehabilitation offers a broad range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs. Rehab’s continuing education program offers 40+ continuing education courses per year at no cost to employees and further supports numerous external CE courses each year.
