Physical Therapist (P.T.) Worth, TX 76109 Work hours\: PRN\: On an as needed basis, 8-hour shifts, variable schedule, Day & evening hours, Mandatory – 3 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per quarter; 1 major and 1 minor holiday coverage per year; weekday shifts available; Coverage until 7PM at Southwest and 9PM at Clearfork Physical Therapy Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Magnet designated facility · Adult and geriatric patients · Excellent experienced team with very high engagement and safety scores Here’s What You Need

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program Required.
• PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly R equired.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.
• Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer 1-year acute care Physical Therapy experience.
• Outpatient experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
• Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
• Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel
• Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients.
