Organize and conduct physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. Direct client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. Direct activities to promote and maintain health. Member and partner of the patient care delivery team. Core Competencies Administer diagnostic testing procedures to assess the extent of patients’ impairments and the prognosis for improvement. Establish a plan of care to address identified impairments. Provide objective, precise, and timely documentation of patient care, patient/family education, and information regarding units of service.
